Together with four other countries in Europe, Öland will represent Sweden in the initiative which will develop experiences in nature and horse tourism. We are looking for a committed and experienced project manager with drive, network and the ability to work goal-oriented in an exciting and varied role. You will be part of the team at Öland & Co and contribute to strengthening Öland's position as a sustainable and attractive destination.
As a project manager, you will lead the local participation in the South Baltic Horse Tourism development project in collaboration with local actors, authorities and business. Öland & Co, as well as Mörbylånga municipality, constitute Sweden's participation in the transnational project, which also includes organizations in Poland, Germany, Denmark and Lithuania. Poland is the lead partner and will organize the project as a whole, your responsibility will be the Swedish/Öland part of the project. The service involves a large focus on nature and horse tourism. You will travel a lot in the position, both within and outside of Sweden, which is why flexibility and availability are crucial.
Lead and coordinate the Swedish/Öland part of the project's implementation.
Create and maintain relationships with relevant actors and partners.
Actively working to develop nature and horse tourism.
Collaborate with legal support and, if necessary, handle contractual issues.
Contribute to marketing and PR efforts linked to the project.
Reporting of accrued costs to the program office in Poland.
Experience in project management, preferably in similar areas.
The ability to listen to different perspectives and adapt your communication as needed.
Communicative skills in both speech and writing, with good knowledge of Swedish and English.
Knowledge of Öland and a relevant contact network.
Experience of working with the public sector and the private business world.
Knowledge and interest in nature tourism and sustainable development.
Driving license and access to a car.
Experience of transnational projects.
Knowledge of horse riding and horse tourism.
Understanding of the hospitality industry and how to develop sustainable experiences.
Experience in marketing and PR work.
Legal competence and experience in contractual work.

The position involves a project employment of 50% with placement at Öland & Co on Öland. As a destination host on Öland, you will have a unique opportunity to combine professional hosting with adventure! In the tourist offices in Färjestaden and Borgholm, as well as out on the island with our "mobile tourist office", you will be the face of both visitors and Öland residents. Your role not only involves informing and inspiring through personal meetings, but also via telephone and email. You will also handle sales of unique Öland crafts and souvenirs and ensure that the digital and analog visitor information is always up to date, as well as other administrative tasks. As our face of the world, you will help make every visitor's experience on Öland memorable.

Öland & Co is now looking for a committed and driven person who wants to take special responsibility for our mobile tourist agency operations, in combination with the role of destination host.
You will be part of our team that travels around Öland during the summer to meet visitors, present Öland and create positive experiences. You will contribute to the physical hospitality, talk to guests, collect their perspectives and conduct customer surveys that help us strengthen Öland's position as a destination.
