Wannborga Distillery & Winery
Wannborga is a real vineyard on Öland with its own vineyard and wine cellar for the production of wine as well as a farm distillery for the production of various distillates. The vineyard was started in the first year of the 2000s with approx. 1/2 ha of vines. Over the years, the cultivation has been expanded to 2,5 ha and consists of approx. 3800 vines of about 10 different grape varieties, all adapted to colder climates. The vineyard was started in the first year of the 2000s with approx. 1/2 ha of vines. Over the years, the cultivation has been expanded to 2,5 ha and consists of approx. 3800 vines of about 10 different grape varieties, all adapted to colder climates. To take care of the wine harvest, the old milk barn has been rebuilt to house a complete winery and microdistillery. Each vintage will have its own character, which is a big part of the charm.
We arrange guided tours of the vineyard/distillery as well as subsequent tastings of the estate's self-produced drinks during the summer. Click on our website to book an appointment.
