Walk in the World Heritage, Tingstad Flisor - Penåsa

Tingstad Flisor - Penåsa is a trail about 5 km long, marked with posts.

From the desolate patches (see Gösslunda-Tingstad patches) the trail continues south towards Penåsa and goes through alternating juniper landscapes and open fields. At a large wooden sign you will meet a crossing path, which goes to Millersten (see Millersten). Just before the parking lot in Penåsa, you pass over a burial ground from the Iron Age, where orchids bloom profusely during the early summer. If you choose to walk from the wooden sign via Millersten, it is approx. 5,4 km to Penåsa parking. At the car park there is a toilet, information boards, tables and benches.
