Trollskogen's hiking trails

In Trollskogen there are three color-marked hiking trails. Signs show how far it is and the color shows which joint it is. It is possible to combine routes if there is something special you want to see. Ask the staff in the nature room and they will help you.

KNYSSELNACKSTEGEN - 1 km - Blue marking
The Knysselneck path is graveled with stone flour and is 1 kilometer. It starts in the forest behind the nature center and is marked in blue. The first section goes through the forest down to the beach meadow at Grankullaviken. The beach meadow can be flooded at high tide. The path follows the coastal meadow and then winds along the edge of the forest towards Grankullaviken. The last part goes on the old railway embankment from the forest railway. Where the path angles up onto the embankment, you can go down to a floating jetty that is used for various activities under the auspices of the naturum. The stretch up to the jetty is also gravel. There is a tip walk along the Knysselnack path.

KOLKYRKESTIGEN - 1,3 km - Green marking
The Kolkyrkestigen is 1,3 km and marked with green. It is easy going and parts of it are coated with stone flour. From the nature center, it follows the yellow and red path out to the Baltic Sea. There it then turns south and runs along the Baltic Sea until it reaches the tower, Kolkyrka. From Kolkyrka it turns west and back to the nature center through the forest. The Kolkyrkestigen is an activity path through the forest and along the sea. Here you meet Morris Mård and he advises you on activities along the path.

MURGRÖNESTIGEN - 3,3 km - Yellow marking
The ivy path is also leveled with stone flour to make it easier to get around with a pram. It is 3,3 kilometers and marked in yellow. Along this trail you can see trees completely embedded in ivy. One stretch runs along the shore meadows of Grankullaviken and part along the shore of the Baltic Sea. Along the Ivy Trail, you pass the wreck after Swiks and the old Trolleken. Along the ivy trail you will find Kluringholkar. First challenge is to figure out how to open them and then there is a mission in them.

TROLLSKOGSTIGEN - 4,5 km - Red marking
The Trollskogsstigen is 4,5 kilometers long and takes you around the entire cape. The trail is marked in red. The part that goes together with the Ivy Path is graveled with stone flour, but otherwise it is a nature path where stones and roots make up the substrate. Therefore, it can sometimes be difficult to get around with, for example, a pram or walker. The path starts behind the nature center and around the entire cape. On the way, you pass oak trees with Trolleken at the top, the cobblestone beach of the Baltic Sea, Iron Age graves, the wreck of the schooner Swiks, the Hjerteskeppet, the 2000-year-old wall, the windswept pines and the beach meadows of Grankullaviken. If you're lucky, you may also catch a glimpse of one of the forest's inhabitants. NOTE this loop takes between 1-2 hours to get around.

Naturum Trollskogen is a center for visitors to a nature area.
