Takida

Takida has built a strong and loyal audience for more than two decades, with a live expression that has made them an obvious name at Sweden's biggest summer gigs. With songs like Curly Sue, Never Alone and You Learn, Takida has created a soundtrack that has followed generations of fans. Live, the band is known for their drive, their audience contact and their ability to fill large environments with both energy and melodic rock. ABOUT TAKIDA Takida was formed in 1999 and had a big breakthrough a few years later with their debut album Make You Breathe (2006). The following year came the huge hit, the now classic single Curly Sue. The song parked itself at number one on the Trackslist for 10 weeks and on Svensktoppen for a full 54 weeks. In 2019, they broke through in Germany with the single Master, which also celebrated great success in Sweden, including a first place on Sventoppen, and they have since steadily increased their success in our southern neighbor.
