Northern Öland offers lake and coast, forest and plain, rocky beach and sandy beach, nightlife and beach life, gourmet dinner and forest picnic. The miles of sandy beaches along the northeast coast are dazzlingly beautiful and attract many visitors every year. For the more adventurous, there is the west side with ruaks and boulders. The deep forests in the north provide a peaceful nature experience with the hissing pine tops that beam the sunlight down onto the soft moss. Artisans, farm shops and flea markets pop up here and there as you travel along the roads.
