Knitting inspiration from Iceland with a guided nature walk in Ottenby

Welcome to an inspiring day where Icelandic knitting tradition meets Öland's unique nature! During the morning, Lottie Hernström will take you to Iceland and tell you about the country's knitting traditions, yarns, colors and patterns. You will also get practical tips and inspiration for how you can create a beautiful and well-fitting Icelandic sweater. After lunch, we will follow a nature guide from the Ottenby Visitor Center into nature. During the guided hike, we will learn more about Ottenby's fascinating bird life, nature and activities. At the same time, we will train our eyes to discover colors, shapes and contrasts that can be inspiration for your next knitting project. Feel free to bring your mobile phone, you will surely want to photograph your favorite combinations!
