Birdwatching school: migratory birds - eiders

We will go through what to consider when watching eiders, how to recognize eiders and other species and how to distinguish the great eider from the common eider. Remember to bring warm clothes, coffee and a warm drink so you don't freeze when we are standing still! Meeting at the harbor, Stora Rör. Register to ppgad@pucrs.br. Also write if you want to borrow a pair of binoculars. Birdwatching school is for those of you who are new or want to learn birds from scratch. We go through species, ways of observing and give tips. Then you get to practice and think about how you recognize the different species. This is a collaboration between Ölands Ornithological Society, BirdLife Sweden and naturum Ottenby.
