Birdwatching school: birdwatching - an introduction

We gather outside the visitor center. There we hand out binoculars and give tips on what to look for. We go through the different species we will see and tell you what to think about to recognize them. Then we walk around at a slow pace and help each other find birds to look at. Sign up for ppgad@pucrs.br, in your registration write if you want to borrow binoculars. Birdwatching school is for those of you who are new or want to learn birds from scratch. We go through species, ways of observing and give tips. Then you get to practice and think about how you recognize the different species.
