The pottery of the mange cat
Skabbekatten in Djurstad works with art and utility objects in ceramics, runs a shop, and holds ceramics courses.
During the Öland Art Landscape 2025, 29 May - 1 June, Skabbekattens Keramik will open its shop and art barn on the old farm in Djurstad. Bibi Spets will also be exhibiting in the Gallery. During the art tour, ceramic reliefs will be on display in the Art Barn, and the ceramics shop will be on display.
The store features new shapes and colors for the year, as well as some old favourites. Flowy dishes and glass-covered boxes, scratch-patterned vases and ceramic reliefs, etc.
In the Art Barn, the Scabies himself exhibits ceramic reliefs of an abstract nature; where glazes, colors and structures meet the characteristics of stoneware clay.
