Ottenby grove - Södra Lundtornet

To get to Fågeltornen in Ottenby lund, take a detour towards Öland's Södra Udde from road 136. Södra Lundtornet can be reached by taking the first exit on the left and following the signs towards Norra Lunden / Schäferiängara to the Norra Lund parking lot. At the car park there is a rest area with toilets and tables. From the parking lot, an approximately 1,5 km long dirt road leads you east towards Norra Lundtornet. To get to Södra Lundtornet, take the first exit from the dirt road to the right and follow Finnslättsvägen towards Södra Lund parking lot. Before you reach the parking lot, continue on Finnslättsvägen east towards Schäferiängarna. When you reach the edge of the grove, you then continue south to arrive at Södra Lundtornet.

An alternative way to get to Södra Lundtornet is to continue on the road towards Öland's Södra Udde to the Södra Lund parking lot. From the car park, you then follow the signs towards Södra Lundtornet for about 700 meters on a nature trail. The tower, which is on two ledges and made of sheet metal, is located at the edge of the grove with a magnificent view of the Schäferian meadows. The lower landing is covered. At the tower there are coffee tables and seats and an information board.
