Öland's Restaurant Association
Öland's Restaurant Association, an interest organization for restaurants on Öland, active since 1998. The association has around 50 members who work together to ensure that every restaurant visit on the island meets, or preferably exceeds, the guests' expectations. The association's ambition is that the raw materials Öland offers should be utilized to the greatest extent possible and, together with other high quality raw materials, refined in a way that means that the lowest level of Öland's restaurants puts Öland at the center of Sweden's gastronomy map.
Quality and high standards must not only pervade how the association's restaurants work with the processing of raw materials, but also how guests are greeted and how staff are handled. Fair conditions and following laws and regulations must be a matter of course for our members. Öland's restaurant association actively collaborates with Öland's municipalities and several other actors to jointly improve the restaurants' conditions, conditions and working methods.
