Ninnis Kroppkaksbod makes the body cakes traditionally and by hand, the recipe has been in the family for many years. Since Ninnis is the only body cake manufacturer that is in the White Guide, it makes them Sweden's best body cake manufacturer.
"An Öland body cake from "Ninnis" should be enjoyed with the accessories you think are best, cold cream, lingonberries and why not a piece of cold butter."
Locally produced is our guiding principle and the raw materials come from our own farm. All our body cakes are gluten and lactose free. Vegan body cakes with mushrooms and onions are made to order.
The White Guide wrote in its formulation for 2018 as follows:
"Classic body cakes
Ninnis is the place to go when it's time to taste Öland's national dish. The accessories are simple, it's lingonberries, butter and unwhipped cream. Ideally, it should be drunk with milk. Sometimes the queue winds out the door but it goes away and then there is plenty of seating in the leafy garden. Some of the guests do "take away" and bring their own pan for the steaming body cakes."
