On a guided hike through Mittlandsskogen, you can get a unique insight into these small creatures and their lives. Newts are more active at night. With an experienced nature guide, it will be easier to spot the animals and understand their behavior. Highlights: * Explore the forest ponds and get the opportunity to see newts * Learn to recognize Sweden's two salamander species * Close-to-nature experience in Mittlandsskogen What is included? * Guided hike with an experienced guide * Opportunity to observe newts * Hot drink and waffle at the night lookout Practical information Regardless of whether you choose a guided tour during the day or evening, we will gather at Mittlandsgården, Törnbottenvägen 68, just outside Algutsrum. From there, we will travel together to the forest. We recommend warm clothing. Please choose layers with overpants in case of rain and wind. Shoes/boots that can withstand wet weather. The ground is flat but slightly uneven, so it does not work with a stroller/walker. Dogs are welcome if it is OK with the other participants. Price Children 6-12 years 150 SEK Adults 250 SEK
