Mörbylångadalen
Mörbylångadalen is one of Sweden's most fertile farming areas and part of the World Heritage Site.
The Mörbylångadalen is one of Sweden's most fertile growing areas. The valley, which used to be the bottom of the lake, has given the farmers a natural prerequisite for grain cultivation and the cultivation of other crops such as potatoes, onions, strawberries. For the farmers in the remaining part of Öland, animal husbandry is and is significantly larger, not least because their arable land is more suitable for growing wheat and growing fodder maize.
