Food walk at dusk along the rocky coast

Experience the stone coast in the Öland twilight. We hike in this unique coastal landscape shaped by limestone, sea and human toil. Here you are treated to Öland delicacies in an abandoned limestone quarry with a view of the sea. It will be a filling tasting plate with charcuterie, bean salad, sauerkraut, hummus, cheese and other delicacies from the island. Everything is locally produced. With a knowledgeable and committed guide you hike in this atmospheric landscape where stories about the area are interspersed with the gastronomic Öland. The hike starts from Jordhamn, one of the pearls of northwestern Öland with picturesque boathouses and a swindler's mill, which is located on the coast a few kilometers north of Sandvik. A tasty experience for all the senses. Welcome to the Stone Coast! INFORMATION Hiking: approx. 3 km starting at the swindler's mill in Jordhamn. Time required: approx. 3 hours including a stop for food Clothing: comfortable hiking shoes / sneakers / sturdy sandals and clothing according to the weather. Bring: your own water bottle if it is warm outside. The terrain is quite easy to walk in. Dogs can be brought along if kept on a leash.
