Madeleine Israelsson
Recently settled on Öland, after many years in Stockholm, but originally from Borås, which I left at the age of 19. Today I create high-quality art photographs – an expression that emerged after many years of frustration and boredom, and which is today deepened through my studies in art history.
I have exhibited in many different contexts: group exhibitions in Stockholm, solo exhibition in Gothenburg, and participated in the Affordable Art Fair in Stockholm.
My prints strive for exclusivity and are therefore only available in a few copies, charged with a strong emotional value.
Describing my art is, in my opinion, anything but art. It is not something I want to explain in words - it is to be experienced. In my world, that is exactly what art is about: to remain in the experience, in the feeling. In order to get as close as possible, I therefore let my art remain something unsaid.
