Long Erik
Långe Erik is a 32 meter high lighthouse built of limestone on Öland's northern cape. It is one of the major sights on the island, and to make the surroundings even more attractive, Fyrvaktarn´s Dotter started a small souvenir shop, tours and a picturesque cafe in 1999. By walking the 132 steps to the balcony, which is located at a height of 28 meters, you get an outstanding view of the surroundings and its unique environments. Find Långe Erik.
Högenäs Orde
Högenäs orde is a nature reserve with a ridge whose highest point is 9,3 meters above sea level. Orde means cape in Öland. The area has a long tradition of grazing, which is reflected in the area's species-rich flora. From the height you can look out over the Baltic Sea and the open pastures. Coastal road Äleklinta-Sandvik
Follow the coastal road between Äleklinta and Sandvik and discover the winding gravel road and Öland's rocky coast. Enjoy the proximity of the sea and a view of well-preserved boathouses, remnants of the old stone industry, ongoing quarries and burial grounds. Gullehamn's quarry

Borgholm Castle
Borgholm Castle is the ruin of the magnificent Baroque palace that Karl X Gustav built here in the mid-1600th century. The castle is called the Nordic region's most beautiful ruin and is today one of the region's biggest tourist destinations. The castle is built on the crest of the approximately 40-meter high Landborgkant and provides a fine view of architecture and nature. There you can look out over the castle salver and Kalmarsund. Bird tower in Beijershamn
Climb up the bird tower in Beijershamn and look out over Kalmarsund and Kalmar. Did you know that in the middle of the 1800th century, the construction of a two-kilometer-long pier that was to become an important port on Öland's west side began. After five years of work, the harbor was completed in 1858. However, it turned out that it was incorrectly constructed and it quickly began to silt up again. The grounding meant problems for shipping and after 15 years Beijershamn was completely taken out of use. As the slurry progressed, reeds and reeds began to migrate in. Over time, this created a unique environment with a mixture of coastal meadows, reeds and open water areas. Together with the shallow bay and sand dunes, Beijershamn became one of Öland's most important bird locations, both during breeding and migration time. Find to Beijershamn.
Mysinge Hög
Mysinge hög is one of Öland's largest burial mounds. It is 45 meters in diameter and four meters high. None of the graves have been excavated, but finds from the Younger Bronze Age have been found in an old gravel pit in the northern part of the area. Long Jan
Långe Jan, which was lit for the first time in 1785, is one of Sweden's oldest lighthouses. With its 42 meters, it is also Sweden's tallest lighthouse. The name Långe Jan comes from the medieval chapel of St. John. When the chapel was demolished, the stone was used to build the lighthouse. A stone cross, west of the road between Långe Jan and Ottenby kungsgård, marks the site of the former chapel. The road down towards the southern tip, with the Långe Jan lighthouse in sight, is one of the most spectacular on Öland. For parts of the year, the roads here are lined with grazing cows and sheep.
