Evening course in turning: Tuesdays 18-21 p.m. Starts January 13, 2026, v3

Content & Prerequisites: This course is suitable for all levels, whether you are a beginner or have worked with clay before. The course spans 6 sessions where we meet every Tuesday evening for 6 weeks. In the course, we will go through kneading (clay preparations), centering, filling, glazing and of course turning. Each course session includes a demo where the course leader shows the day's focus/target image. The course fee includes: - Coffee/tea and coffee accessories during the break - Each participant can save 3 kg of finished goods. Of course, you can save more if you wish for a fee of 150 SEK/kg Course structure and content: Each course session begins with a demo by the course leader. 13/1 Session 1: Preparations and centering. Then turning of a cylinder. 20/1 Session 2: Open shapes and shells. 27/1 Session 3: Closed and enclosed shapes (vases) 3/2 Session 4: Optional shapes 10/2 Session 5: Optional shapes 17/2 Session 6: Glazing! Then turning of optional shapes The teaching consists mostly of practical work under the supervision of course leader Anders Alsen. Everyone has their own turning wheel throughout the course.
