The limestone temple in Källa
We listen to the stone walls' 1000-year history of pirates and pilgrims, of new Christianity and a holy spring.
Källa gamla kyrka is a defensive church from the 1000th century. Here, limestone walls speak of times when pilgrims came to honor St Olaf, the saint of merchants and sailors. His well can still be found at the back of the church. But the walls have also protected from pirates and served as church rooms in the early Christian era.
