Kaffetorpet Solliden's castle

Kaffetorpet, dating back to 1890, serves hot cooked food, salads and hearty sandwiches. We have our own bakery where we bake our own bread, cookies, cakes and more. We can promise that some of our cakes and tarts often have a Royal touch. How about Princess cake, Haga's brown bread, a juicy Silvia cake or an apple pie with apples from Queen Victoria's apple tree the Queen once planted inside the park.

The ambition is to serve classic Swedish dishes, from regional ones
suppliers or with raw materials from Solliden's own garden. There is
a large outdoor restaurant with full rights in a beautiful setting. Enjoy
preferably a glass of wine, cold beer from a local brewery or a schnapps, vid
name in all seriousness. Also try Solliden's unique apple must, made from apples from
Solliden's own apple orchard. About 250 apple trees of a variety
varieties are harvested by hand. For the little ones, there is of course a children's menu and a
play corner.

The coffee shop has room for around 60 guests inside and there is also a large one
outdoor seating, with beautiful flower plantings framing the area. From
the outdoor terrace you can see the small picturesque cottages there you will find Öländs
handicrafts and delicacies to buy to take home.

You will find Kaffetorpet just outside the gates of Solliden's castle park,
adjacent to the nature reserve Borga hage/castle forest.
