öland & co's privacy policy
collection and processing of personal data
The most common reasons why we have information about you are that you have an agreement with us, that you have made a booking with us, that you are part of our network or that you have signed up for one of our events or newsletters. It may also be the case that you are the contact person for an organization that operates within the region's hospitality industry or that you are a journalist or influencer.
image publishing
In order for Öland & Co to be able to fulfill its mission – to develop, profile and market Öland as a destination – we periodically publish images showing Öland's sights and various events. We have carried out a balance of interests and assess that Öland & Co's interest in being able to showcase Öland as an attractive destination outweighs the damage the publication can conceivably do to people seen in the picture.
We must take great care when taking photographs, for example by:
- take neutral pictures where any people seen are portrayed in a positive way.
- strive to see as few faces as possible.
- avoid photographing children.
- inform as much as possible that we will be photographing during the event. This can, for example, be done on the event's website in advance, by a conference/speaker talking about it on site at the event and via signs on site.
People who appear in the picture have the right to ask for the picture to be removed. You do this by contacting us via [email protected].
