Horn Lake
Hornsjön is Öland's largest lake with an area of just over 200 hectares and at its deepest it is about four meters. The lake is located in the Horns kungsgård nature reserve and is an important source of water for northern Öland. Originally, Hornsjön was a bay, but was cut off by land uplift.
Hornsjön can be visited from several directions, the easiest is to start from one of the car parks at Horns Kungsgård or Klosterholmen.
