Tove and Oskar from Helsingborg have set their sights on an active adventure. They want to experience Öland on two wheels and are looking forward to many exciting experiences on site. To also make the trip to the island as nice as possible, they choose an electric car. They start from the electric car map to find suitable charging points. The bags should be packed and the bikes strapped in before the trip.

They looked at The nature map to find good bike tours on Öland. Both fell for Icy surf round and in the area at Haga Park there were several fun activities to do. In Beijershamn they could take a short walk to experience the fantastic nature area. There was also the opportunity to rent a SUP board to paddle out into the strait. There would be many talented kite and wind surfers right next door, that would also be cool to see!

After Haga Park, the idea is to cycle further along the shoreline with its beautiful nature, sandy slopes and pine trees. The first night is booked at Naya Retreat. After that, the plan is to continue on the cycle path, Ölandsleden, south to Grönhögen and out to Öland's southern tip. There is Sweden's highest lighthouse that you can climb, Naturum Ottenby and the restaurant Fågel Blå.

On the way back, they plan to take the eastern side of Öland. It offers expansive views of the agricultural landscape, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, but also exciting history with both ancient castles and shipwrecks.

They haven't decided where they'll sleep the next few nights yet. They've brought a tent but hope to find a place at one of the guesthouses along the way. It all depends on how far they can cycle and how many days they want to stay. The best thing about a holiday is being able to take the journey, and tomorrow's adventures, as they come!
