Carl-Olof makes sculptures in stoneware, people, animals and other creatures from reality or fantasy before the mystery of life.
"I am a ceramicist who works in stoneware clay which is then fired at a high temperature so the ceramic sinters, that is, melts together and forms a completely dense material. I make sculptures, horses, lynxes, cats, weasels, dragons, man-rats and many other animals, but also houses, people, boats and birds. Ceramic sculpture and painting of man in the animal and vice versa. Its relationship to nature, in our case in our garden where we live and work. When the urge strikes, I can also create a painting in acrylic or go out into our garden and create a work of art from living trees, flowers and water." Carl-Olof Damm
Public decorations in, among other places, Borgholm Library and the Journalism School in Kalmar, but also small miniatures. Vases and objects with images, a story from reality or fantasy, landscapes, ships, people, sky and sea.
