Gettlinge Cemetery
Gettlinge cemetery is located on the western land castle next to road 136 with a beautiful view of Kalmarsund. A few graves are also on the grave east of the road.
The burial ground extends from the southern part of Klinta or Gettlinge village, approx. 2 kilometers south. In the northern part you find the most varied grave forms. Here lies a ship's set and a pair of judge's rings made of round stone blocks, resting on three smaller stones, a type of ancient remains characteristic of Öland.
Next to the dock stand two tall raised limestone slabs. In the burial ground there are several raised stones, four-sided stone settings, etc
Only a minor investigation has been carried out on the burial ground, which yielded finds from the Roman Iron Age. Spurs, spear point and a frost dent were found. The specified grave forms show that the main part of the burial field probably belongs to the Late Iron Age.
