Oil paintings by Anna-Kajsa Alaoui.

In her gallery on Norra Öland, in Binnerbäck, Löttorp, Anna-Kajsa shows her art. It is both colouristically powerful and nuanced painting with motifs that span Öland's landscapes and the non-figurative. The formats vary between over a meter and smaller. Also drawings and pastels.

Eva Hervieu exhibits batik with bird motifs. EH lives in Hagskog and Nice, France. She has been making batik for most of her life.

For opening hours see website.

Anna-Kajsa has been a professional artist since the mid-80s.
Member of KRO, the Association of Swedish Female Artists and Swedish Artists Culture 1

"I have been painting on Öland since the mid-80s. The Öland landscape is an inexhaustible source of inspiration.
When my painting moves towards the non-figurative, the interpretations are more open. Everything - one's experiences, the outside world affects what one sees.
The outside world creeps into the interpretation and translation to the canvas.
You can see each brushstroke as a piece of information.
For a painting to feel complete, all information must be included in a "conversation," a composition, a rhythm that inspires hope and confidence,
when "everything speaks to everything."
There is a lot of "information" in my paintings but my goal is always to express myself as simply as possible!"
