Fossil School for the Family

The Öland limestone is rich in fossils, including ancient squids and orthoceratites. We start with Jan telling us about the animal life many millions of years ago in the deep seas at the equator. Then, when we have equipped ourselves with hammers, safety glasses and a helmet (which we provide), we search and knock on the limestone blocks on display. We are sure to find - and learn a lot!
