Europe & Nestor

Europe is returning to Sweden this summer – on July 9 they occupy Borgholm's Castle Ruin on Öland for the first time with NESTOR as support!

After three sold-out nights at Cirkus last year, Europe is finally back with long-awaited gigs in Sweden. On July 9, they occupy Borgholm's castle ruins on Öland for the first time. As an extra spice, NESTOR will act as support at the gig. This is an experience you definitely don't want to miss!

Made up of vocalist Joey Tempest, guitarist John Norum, bassist John Levén, drummer Ian Haugland and keyboardist Mic Michaeli, EUROPE has not only stuck to its signature sound but also evolved over the years. From their debut album “Europe” to their latest release “Walk the Earth”, the band has consistently delivered rock music of the highest class.

With an impressive list of hits, including “Carrie,” “Rock the Night,” and “The Final Countdown,” Europe has constantly renewed its grip on the music scene. It's not just 80s nostalgia; the band's later works such as "Hold your head up" have shown their ability to innovate and surprise listeners over the years.

Europe has sold millions of albums and the legendary song "The Final Countdown" reached number one in 25 countries in 1986. The band received an award from YouTube last year for being the first Swedish band ever to get a billion(!) views on a song.

NESTOR embraces 80s influences with an ironic twist and a lot of heart. The band Nestor was formed in 1989 (then the guys were 14-16 years old) where they released a few albums, but broke up in 1995. Nestor comes from a time when rock music was cool and the music was great. But today, the combination of great music and humor is what Nestor is all about. Nestor's mission is to restore rock's glory and protect its legacy and reshape rock's iconography.
