You who arrange public events on Öland can be seen in our calendar at oland.se. Please read the text below before submitting your tip.
We handle incoming events within 10 arbetsdagar, so submit well in advance. For best effect, the event should be published at least a couple of weeks before the start.
The organizer is responsible for ensuring that the information is accurate and up-to-date. Öland & Co reserves the right to assess, edit or reject events that do not meet the guidelines.
What counts as an event?
An event is a time-limited, planned event that gathers visitors around a certain theme or experience. It should have a clear start and end date and deviate from the business's regular offerings.
Examples: concerts, markets, guided tours, exhibitions, competitions and festivals.

To be published in the calendar, the event must:

take place on Öland
-
early open to the public
-
early temporarily (last for a few days at most or on a few occasions)

to be something man can experience during their visit on Öland
Examples: concerts, markets, exhibitions, guided tours, theme nights, races, lectures, festivals and similar public activities.
not published in the calendar

Political or religious activities (e.g. church services, demonstrations, party meetings)

Courses, training or membership activities

Municipal service and information meetings, annual meetings

Recurring regular business (e.g. restaurants that are open, stores with promotions)

Ongoing activities more than a week in a row

Events like not aimed at visitors

Attach at least a picture without text (gif, jpg or png, max 2 MB)

Make sure you have consent from people in the picture (GDPR)

Fill in all required fields (*)

For events with multiple dates: use the function "add date"

If your arena/place not in the list, select – unspecified –, click on "add date", and then fill in the address manually. The next time you register an event, the arena will be available as an option.
