Ceramic Garden
Ceramics workshop, shop and exhibition in the large barn by the fireplace by the sea.
Caroline lives and has worked as a ceramicist for 30 years on northern Öland. Here she has her workshop and gallery.
Caroline's inspiration and thought with her works comes from the forms of nature and they often emerge during the work process itself. The turntable is Caroline's most used tool, but she often twists, turns and cuts to get where she wants to go. Caroline has recently worked with three different firing methods depending on the expression she wants to achieve:
Stoneware firing, raku firing and low-fired salt firing "Saggarfired".
Caroline often strives to think in new ways and is always looking for new challenges, while keeping it classic and simple.
