Elaine started drawing at a very young age. She herself has learned to draw portraits by analyzing the people around her, mostly when she traveled to work on buses and via the subway. Elaine has studied croquis and sculpture at Gothenburg University for adults in 1997. Being able to study different styles online has inspired Elaine to venture more with colors, shapes and representations in some of her work. Elaine was born in Canada but married to a Swedish man. Elaine's life has been lived one half here in Sweden and the other over there in Canada.
