In the middle of Öland, in the small terraced village of Gillsättra, organic rapeseed is harvested on beautiful golden yellow fields by the Johansson family.

We at Ekberg & Forsberg press our virgin oil gently from the farm's organic rapeseeds. Drop by drop, under low temperature it retains all the unique flavors, healthy vitamins, nutrients as well as Omega 3 and Omega 6. The taste is mild, nutty and has elements of all the herbs of the summer meadow on sunny Öland.

Since rapeseed oil can withstand high temperatures, it is perfect for all cooking and baking. It is also good as a salad dressing or to dip bread in. Rapeseed oil is the oil of the new modern conscious kitchen.
