The queen

The queen is a windmill of the so-called Dutch model. It is a so-called toll mill, which means that it was run by a miller, unlike the farmers' own household mills. On a Dutch model mill, only the dome is turned around. The Queen initially stood at the Postmaster's Luck at Sandås in Kalmar. In the 1880s it was moved to Öland and is now located between the Kvarnkungen and the Crown Prince in Björnhovda.
