Mörbylångaleden – Stage 1

On this stage, experience Kalmarsund and the Ölandbrücke as well as the outer areas of Färjestaden. Experience the luxuriant Mittlandsskogen, the largest hanging deciduous forest area in Northern Europe. Skogsby - Mörbylånga

Accompanied by the breath-taking view, this stage leads along the coast to Mörbylånga. One durchquer den laubreichen, vogelreichen Vickleby-Wald und folgt dem Kalmar Sound entlang am Haga Park. Mörbylånga - Kastlösa

You wander through the center of Mörbylånga and head towards Risinge and Risingehamn. Here you have an unbeatable view of the coastal meadows and the Kalmarstraße. Then you reach the Rest Square von Klovenhall, which lies directly on the Strand. Es gibt eine Toilette, einen Windschutz, einen Grillbereich und eine Informationstafel. Then drive further along the beautiful beach of Risinge, um über die Felder abzubiegen, which leads you over the green village road to Kastlösa.

Kastlösa - Seby Location

You can look out over the wide Alvar-Weiten with a wonderful view of the Baltic Sea. The Mörbylångaleden-Weg leads further to the south on the partly straight old Bahndamm, which can be somewhat uneven due to the backwardness of the railroad tracks, animal use, weather and wind. Hier gibt es einen Abschnitt mit mehreren Kunstwerken, der Sculpture Trail genannt wird. Then you reach the Ziellinie, Seby Location, where there is a toilet and a grill area. Entlang dieses Abschnitts gibt es einen sehr beliebten Restplatz in Penåsa. Es gibt Grillplätze und Windschutzräume für Übernachtungen. From Penåsa you can also continue on the other hiking trails über Alvaret.
Mörbylångaleden – Stage 5
Seby location – Ottenby
14 Kilometers, 5–6 Hours Wanderung
One walks over the unique lake landscape to the Hafen von Gräsgård. After crossing the Hauptstraße, continue on the Dorfstraße through Gammalsby and into the next village, Mellstaby. After einer Strecke auf dem alten Bahndamm you pass Eketorps Schloss. One follows der Dorfstraße in Enetri with the beautiful view of the lake landscapes and the Baltic Sea up to the town of Näsby, which is divided by the 4.611 meter long Wall of Karl X. Gustav. Then you reach the end of Mörbylångaleden, the Ottenby Hostel. This stage was climbed in 2018 by Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Victoria during her Landschaftswanderungs auf Öland bestiegen. From Ottenby-Hostel you can get through Ottenbylunden and down to Südkap von Öland and to Långe Jan.
