Kalmar Öland Airport
On the Mainland side, about 5 km west of the Ölandbrücke, the Kalmar Oland Airport, the Regional Airport, is located. There are daily scheduled connections both from Stockholm Arlanda (SAS) and also from Stockholm Bromma (BRA). From September 2021 you can also fly directly from Frankfurt in Germany (Lufthansa) here. Der Stadtbus zum nahegelegenen Hauptbahnhof Kalmar, von wo aus die Busse von Kalmar Länstrafik nach Öland abfahren, passes den Flughafen Kalmar Öland alle zwanzig Minuten.
