You can get easily via the Olandbrücke from Kalmar to Öland. Es gibt auch Busse vom Mainland und zwischen den Städten auf der Insel. In the summer you can also take the Fahrradfähre Dessi zwischen Kalmar und Färjestaden. In the extreme north, the Öland-Fähre verkehrt between Oskarshamn and Byxelkrok.
