Christmas by the Sea is our Christmas package at Strand Öland in Borgholm, for those who want to celebrate Christmas at a hotel and leave the planning, cooking and Christmas chaos at home. It combines overnight accommodation, The Treat Club & Garden, a traditional Christmas table, Christmas meals and several days together by the sea.

Christmas starts on the day of arrival. Check in, let your bags land in your room and start your stay with a welcome drink and a hot dish. Later, we gather for a sit-down evening with snacks – while the rest of the Christmas preparations take care of themselves.

On Christmas Eve, the morning takes its time with an extra long Christmas breakfast. This is followed by mulled wine and a traditional Christmas table filled with the flavors of Christmas. At 3:00 PM, we gather in front of Donald Duck, followed by Christmas fika and coffee.

Between Christmas meals, there's plenty of time for The Treat Club & Garden, our relaxation area with indoor and outdoor heated pools, sauna, foot bath, lounge and pool bar. Bathrobe and slippers await you in your room – and you set the pace yourself.

After the Christmas Eve celebrations, the stay continues on Christmas Day with hotel breakfast and a day at your own pace. Take another moment in The Treat, walk along the sea or do as little as possible. In the evening, the day is rounded off with a three-course dinner.

The second day begins with hotel breakfast before it's time to check out – hopefully with the feeling of having had all the best of Christmas, but significantly less of the mess.
