BORGHOLMS CITY MUSEUM, which is owned and run by Öland's Kulturminnesförening, is one of Borgholm's most beautiful farms with roots in the early 1800s. In the grand main building there are contemporary interiors, industrial history and collections of Öland art and handicrafts. Here you will also find out more about e.g. Borgholm as a popular seaside resort with visiting spa and bath guests, the Maritime City and the era Öland's railway (1906-1961) In addition to the main building, the museum in Borgholm includes several smaller houses, a boathouse, a coachman's residence, stables, a wine cellar and a large beautiful garden with fruit trees and roses.
The museum is located three blocks from the town square, corner Badhusgatan-Köpmangatan.
