borgholm
The setting of Borgholm is magnificent to say the least. On the open plain the burnt out castle ruins tower to the west, during the hours of darkness it is also illuminated, and then you know it's time to slow down and soon turn on the blinkers on the car, although you can wait until you've passed the curve and Queen Victoria's rest home, of course.
Borgholm is a bustling summer town with a pleasant calm. Sandy beach practically in the middle of town and lovely pedestrian streets that invite you to shop, eat and drink. Hotels, restaurants, bars and nightlife, you will find that in Borgholm. But you will also find local market shops, galleries, museums and handicrafts. In the harbor there are fantastic restaurants with sea views and the guest harbor attracts many boaters during a long season. Given Borgholm's size, it can be said that the range is large and varied. Here you can find interior design and fashion from well-known brands. Down towards the harbor there is a fantastic building with architecture from the last century when Borgholm consolidated its heyday as a seaside resort. Even in the center there are fantastic wooden villas. Perhaps it is precisely the variety of modern and retro, gourmet food and street cuisine, and the inviting atmosphere that make Borgholm such a popular summer town.
