Böda Station Camping
Böda Station is an old railway station that was closed down in 1961. It was then rebuilt into a family home for SJ: employees and their families.
Now it is a resort open to everyone
The exterior of the station building has retained its classic charm and looks almost as it always has, but with a few small changes that blend in with the original style of the building. Inside the building there is a meeting room where the old ticket booth still stands, along with pictures depicting when the station was in full operation – a nice reminder of the times gone by.
The campsite offers a small and peaceful oasis, with both tent pitches, caravan pitches and motorhome pitches, all located on grass. The caravan pitches are equipped with electricity, while the tent pitches have no electricity connection. There is a good mix of nature and comfort, with proximity to both forest and water.
Our service house has all the facilities you need for a comfortable stay. Guests have access to a well-equipped kitchen with fridge, freezer, stove and microwave, as well as toilets, a disabled toilet/nursing room, showers (which are free to use) and a laundry room with a washing machine that can be used for a small fee. There is also a latrine emptying facility, but unfortunately we do not offer the possibility of emptying grey water from motorhomes.
Over the years we have built several cottages and apartments in different sizes, from one person up to six people. All cottages and apartments have a kitchen and toilet, but some lack a shower. In that case, guests can use the comfortable showers in the service building.
The area around the campsite is peaceful and scenic, with lots of forest and tranquility, but it is still not far from the beach, swimming or shops. Here you can both relax in nature and easily get to what you need.
