The Boda Knallen

For many, North Öland is a feeling. Summer light, salty baths, late nights and memories that stay. A place for freedom, for love, to catch your breath. But for us who live and work here year-round, North Öland is something more than a holiday. It is community. It is responsibility. It is home. This is a tribute to us. A party that is good and does good. For each and every one of us and for North Öland. On stage are Björn Rosenström, Svenne Rubins and the Swedish Folkjazz Quartet, three established names with a strong foundation in Swedish live music tradition and audience-friendly gigs. The DJ duo BLNDNS will raise the temperature even further at the after-party for those with VIP tickets. Five more artists will be revealed in the future. BÖDA KNALLEN's idea is very simple. A party where music, community and the location are at the center. All surplus will be reinvested in North Öland, where the money can make a difference, says Linus Hedberg - project manager. The festival is held in Böda Hamn and is carried out together with the port's active business owners. The arrangement makes it possible for the audience to take part in the entire program during a cohesive day and evening. The festival opens at 11:00. For those who are extra eager to party, there are a limited number of VIP tickets that will take the party further when the big crowd goes home at 23:00.
