Birgitta Augustine

Landscape painting with traces of man and Öland. The special Ölandsljuset, Bornholm and Skåne are some of my sources of inspiration.

Birgitta was born in Kyrkhult, Blekinge in 1950 and moved to Öland in 1977. Paints simplified landscapes in oil. Her paintings are added through drawings and sketches, hence the simplified paintings. Sensitive to the landscape, Birgitta is always questioning.
