Autumn excursion with Lovisa on northern Öland

Join Lovisa Furubo on a lovely autumn day in northern Öland. Discover flea market finds, cozy shops and Öland flavors and end the excursion with coffee and a walk in the beautiful coastal landscape.

We head towards Löttorp, but first: Stop and buy some coffee and bread at the Olof Stone Oven Bakery. PS. In the corners is Återbruket Borgholm, if you're lucky they're open!

Once in Löttorp, I think you should stop by Färgbladan, an incredible little shop with a focus on building maintenance. Here you will find everything from linseed oil paint and wallpaper to crafts and friendly cleaning products.

Basket with several flea market finds

In Löttorp there is a great chance of finding flea market finds. Try your luck at the Red Cross and Hela människan! Among other things, I found my favorite item: a bowl with a lid!

Is it getting close to lunch time? Stop by Kalk Öland in Löttorp and enjoy the flavors of Öland.

Now it's time for the absolute highlights of the trip. Fornbo and Alvedsjöbodar! Two incredible, slightly forgotten places along the coast in the Horns Kungsgård nature reserve. Here you can enjoy coffee and a walk in Öland's fantastic landscape, and I'm already looking forward to our next visit.

On a kitchen counter there are lots of cold cuts and snacks

By the way, next door to Kalk is Rosas Handel, where you can buy some goodies and set the table for an incredible evening once you get back home! But… in the summer, I swear it will be enjoyed on the beach, among the softest stones in Fornbo.
