Course leader Niklas Elgmo Isola farm, Holmetorp Öland This is a painting course for those who want to paint still life in oil. Both for those who want to try it for the first time and for those who want to continue developing their painting under Niklas' guidance.

The focus of the course will be on being able to see colors and denominations and how they relate to each other. Niklas will go through how to prepare canvas, mix colors and handle brushes and painting medium. You will compose your own still life consisting of things that we provide and/or things you bring with you. Demonstrations are interspersed with individual guidance and own painting. We have access to a beautiful course venue at Isola farm during the entire course weekend.

The course runs Friday at 13-17, Saturday between 9.30-17 and Sunday at 9.30-15

Isola studios is run by artist Niklas Elgmo and offers art sales and art courses. You will find us at Isola farm in Holmetorp on Öland. This is where we build our creative business. A meeting place for creation. Here you can visit Niklas' studio and take part in painting courses. The newly renovated course room is also transformed into a gallery in connection with e.g. Öland's art landscape and Öland's Harvest Festival. In the coming year, we will also open the doors to a separate gallery and guest studios.
